honestly, the thing that is becoming the most obvious to me is that a very large cohort of users want a combo of what X is today and what twitter used to be. there's some belief that because X allows a certain type of thing, then we should allow it here too but with the roles reversed

i get your point. i guess from my perspective, there's a ton of misinformation about what things actually happened v didnt (for example, the federalist article thing. not even half the accounts there got taken down, and some of the posts are still up, but people are saying they were all taken down?)
