Black Ops 7 is the premier AAA casual movement shooter on the market right now.

With the reintroduction of classic SBMM, reduced aim assist, persistent lobbies and more, BO7 is already positioned to be one of the best multiplayer entries in CoD history.

Campaign isn't ideal, but can be amusing.

Battlefield 6 is the most content complete FPS title that isn't named Call of Duty in a long time. An oasis in the metaphorical dry desert that is quality FPS releases.

Campaign is middling, but it can be mindless fun.

Multiplayer is where the game obviously shines. Very excited for the future.

Building upon on the foundation left by the previous two games, Mass Effect 3 is a masterclass of storytelling payoff and execution. Too many iconic moments to count.

Gameplay is genuinely fantastic. Probably the best weight system I've encountered.

Synthesis ending fits the themes perfectly.

Mass Effect 2 is the quintessential sequel. From the gameplay to the story, everything is deeper and more interesting. Introduces new characters you'll love quickly and expands upon the ones you already love greatly.

My only issue is that the game is too dark, art style wise.

Overall amazing.

It's clear why Mass Effect 1 was such a landmark title for the video game industry. Can't talk about RPGs or even sci-fi games without mentioning Mass Effect in the same breath.

Gameplay is at best, clunky. Improves later, but not by much. Succeeds in it's setting, world building and overall plot.

The Outer Worlds is a solid RPG FPS experience. Doesn't try anything too crazy, but it's a consistently enjoyable ride throughout.

Gameplay is just okay. Enemy AI, animation work, game feel and strategy are all noticably lackluster.

Writing and story is where the game excels. Delicious dialogue.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is the obvious game of the year. While I'm far from a turn based gamer, I fell in love with this experience all the same. A tour de force.

Star Wars Outlaws is a good Star Wars game. Nothing revolutionary, but it's a fun experience with solid characters in some very pretty worlds.

Finally played and finished the Marathon trilogy. As a massive Halo and Destiny fan, it was really great to experience where it all started.

Extremely hyped for the new Marathon!
