I have considered ridgebacks but I know they’re sight hounds not sniffers and the ethics of owning a ridgeback in Fairbanks feels a little wonky

I’ve never had a hound as far as dogs go but I’m kind of fascinated by them. The sniffer on those guys is very impressive

I do something similar to this too- call it the tent pole method- you have some tent poles and then you can figure out how to lift up the rest of the fabric once the stakes are planted
