HG definitely improved the clouds visuals with the latest update (Omega), but I wish we were able to set a higher rendering resolution for the clouds.. they're clearly rendering at a quarter res at best..
A screenshot of No Man's Sky showing atmospheric cloud rendering with what appears to be subsurface scattering (or at least a "fake" form of it, nonetheless looks great). The clouds themselves however remain blurry and clearly rendered at a much lower resolution. This is common in modern games that use deferred shading, as this kind of post-fx can be graphically intensive
