Creativity week at my place this week. I made this today, part of an ongoing/years years-long project.

Jenny Saville exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery. Absolutely stunning - the scale, the paint, the drawing are all amazing. I recommend seeing her work ‘in the flesh’.

At this time of night, at this time of year - the dusk following summer sunsets - 🐦‍⬛ the local black birds, 🐦‍⬛ positioned on the vantage points of tv aerials,🐦‍⬛ sing out declaring themselves to the world. 🐦‍⬛ They fill the soft night air with their sweet song and it brings me a gentle joy. 🐦‍⬛
