Happy New Year! To the Labor movement and the working class, may the year bring strength, solidarity, and victory for workers. For those working against them and profiting from their exploitation and suffering, may you have the year you deserve. Let's grow a powerful movement in 2025!

Hyundai and it's suppliers are demonstrating their low road practices. Workers and communities across the supply chain are speaking out and demanding changes. This is being met with threats and terminations. We must stand with the brave workers who spoke about their experiences.

My coping mechanism when dealing with recent election has been to hyper focus on my campaigns & the brave workers who are speaking out & demanding better for themselves and their communities. In the South,we have already been educating, organizing, and building under fascist rule & we will still win.

Today's words of wisdom. When management tells you that you are all on the same team, remember you are on the same field, not team.

Gilberto sent this to us last week from Soledad CA where it was 98°. He shared, "I've been working in the lettuce and broccoli for 29 years. It's usually cool here. Today it's very hot. Since we are not used to this weather, it's very difficult to do the work."

Time to start posting articles on here: everyone is asking if there will be a UPS strike so here’s my update on that. Negotiations broke down at 4am yesterday—O’Brien said the two sides were discussing part-time work at the time—and a strike certainly looks more likely than it did two days ago.

So, I did it! After a ton of soul searching, I resigned from the teaching job I have worked for 11 years today. I am transitioning into full-time organizing and research.

Guess who finally finished all of their onboard materials? In the field, work was my number one, and let's be honest, it is more fun. Now, I have to buckle down the rest of the week to knock out some of this Strategic Corporate Research project.

Spent the morning with the family and some of their friends. When I said I was working for JMA on a union campaign. One older gentleman said how his daughter was a nurse and how badly they wanted a union. Another went off about temp workers not being treated fairly and how Hyundai needed a union.

For the first time in a while, I was bummed it was a holiday week because we were killing it talking with workers last week. Dang, 4th of July shut downs, better not have slowed the progress.

Strikes are huge, exciting, stressful life events for everyone involved—but what’s it like when you’re too little to walk the picket line on your own? One Alabama family told me about parenting their daughters while on a historic two-year-long strike https://t.co/IdjYDbL6Vp
What Happens When Mom And Dad Go On Strike
When the Wrights and their kids joined the picket line during a years-long strike against Warrior Met Coal, it upended every aspect of their lives.
