Participated in a challenge - the Peter Pan book series challenge and came out of it with a character I really like (Peter) and some images that I like but don’t love - isn’t it too bad we can’t LOVE every single piece we pour time into? 😅🥲

For illustrators/author illustrators, what do you feel was a turning point for you in either finding representation or being published?

Doing some birds as part of a January challenge and this is my first one - a piping plover! It was really refreshing and a perfect start to the year to work with some traditional materials!

I recently shared my wrap up of some of my favorite 2024 illustrations.

TBH 2024 was not a successful year (career wise) - I didn’t book any new deals, or get an agent, or get one of the many jobs I applied for. If you feel the same - here’s to another year of creating! I’m thankful for that 🥂
