Found this to be very helpful today, especially the point that “You Don’t Have to Follow Trump Down Every Rabbit Hole”. It’s OK to selectively read/hear the news for the next four years—focus on what you can control and what’s in your sphere of influence! Thanks, as always @danpfeiffer.bsky.social
Today is a day that so many of us have dreaded for so long. The second Trump presidency is upon us. Here are some thoughts on surviving it and even turning our anger and anxiety into productive action.

Thank you for sharing this helpful thread! Our @prisnetwork.bsky.social team was discussing this at our recent writing retreat and this is a really great list of alternative terms!
CDC offers alternative terms to "stakeholders" here: cdc.gov/healthcommunic…
They include:  contributors, community, community members, community impacted, community affected, community of solution, coalition members, allies, colleagues, clients, advocacy groups, etc.

Reading @danpfeiffer.bsky.social has been really helpful and inspirational over the past few years—definitely recommend subscribing to the Message Box on Substack and reading this post!
Trump convinced enough voters that he was the candidate of change who would take on a corrupt political system. Well, his first 2 weeks show that he embodies everything these voters hate about politics. This is the case Dems should make: www.messageboxnews.com/p/trump-20-c...

Excited to share our recently published pilot study where we provided grocery gift cards and frozen meals to families after hospital discharge. There was a significant decrease in caregivers who reported food insecurity after discharge! More here:

Just finished this excellent podcast series about @akilah.bsky.social and her team trying to change the mascot of Boone County HS! Was a great listen and was both inspiring and disheartening, which felt like an apt metaphor for our times. Give it a listen!

Many years ago I stopped using my personal account on the other platform and only used it for work—primarily to interact with others doing research and QI in peds! Hoping to renew that focus here. As always, looking to our PRIS social media leader @tchoumd.bsky.social to show me the way!
