I don't have a lot of whites for #ShowMeYourKnits, so I'll share a very old project, from early in my knitting life.
I am still dreaming of making a classic cabled white sweater one day.

Cardigan for #ShowMeYourKnits this week. I don't think I have shared this one before. A Heidi Kirrmaier design, and as with most of her designs, it looks elegantly simple, but has some nice details. I loved pairing it with this yarn 🧶

This week's #ShowMeYourKnits theme is HOLIDAYS. I don't really have any holiday gift knits or typical holiday themed knits, but this one was definitely knit during the holiday season, started December 1st and finished right before the end of New Year's Eve 2021.

I love a lot of @woolandpine.bsky.social's stashbusting designs, so far there the Bluegrass wrap, that's getting a lot of compliments and always brightens my day. Mostly made of Dutch indie dyer @wolmetverve.bsky.social minis and leftovers.

My WIPs at the moment for #ShowMeYourKnits: very little progress on the socks 🧦 since last time this theme was on, I do like them, but my frozen shoulder is getting in the way 🤕. I started a new big project this week in fisherman's rib, which seems to be going OK.

My horror story for this week's #ShowMeYourKnitsis is the time I threw a few shawls in the washing machine and accidentally picked the delicates cycle instead of wool/handwash and found out there is a big difference! Three were completely felted. Here's two of them in better days.

JOY and CARE for #ShowMeYourKnits this week. I think this one was about self care. I knit 🧶 this Anthology Throw when I was at home a lot with two broken ribs. The yarn was an advent I gifted myself just before the injury. And knitting all those different colours sure brought me some joy.

I think I have become more of a cowl and shawl person than a scarf one. But I was thinking of knitting more scarfs. So this week's #ShowMeYourKnits will be great for 🧣 inspiration.
The first one was my first lace project, the second one for my then toddler.

My current WIPs for #ShowMeYourKnits, are a pair of socks I should finish soon when I still can wear them in shoes that show them off, and a shawl that has been on my wishlist for years.
