Duel links might have learned from hearthstone, that;'s where they got the idea from skills from the hero abilities, duel links may be a better version of yugioh that fixes some of its problems but I was turned off by another scammy card acquiring system

Never played hearthstone before, already 2/0 just from intuition, able to quickly come up with a strategy, because the cards have simple effects simple numbers, simple doesn't mean less strategic, it means you don't have artificial difficulty, you don't have to spend hours studying card effects

I probably should just play hearthstone, the abilities are so straightforward and simplified cards do mainly one thing, that I don't need to study a bunch, I can just intuitively pick it up and rely on general strategic principles, that's what I prefer. I don't want something to be a chore to play.
