Border Terrier Lover- Buffy the Vampire Slayer Fan - Love Queen and Adam Lambert.
Raised to respect others -but think for myself.
I think we under estimate the toll of looking after another person for a long time on your emotions . Then add grief to that. Also you would have been grieving for the old Tony over many years.
Now he is gone it would bring all the emotions to the fore. Take care of yourself.xx

Love the pizza one.
Gosh you can see how unwell he became when you see him in his younger days.
Always radiates love towards the camera.
A good man. Xxx

He makes me smile 😁.
Just gorgeous.
November 8, 2025 at 10:05 PM
Great idea. Xx

Absolutely hated them for years since they turned into bombs rather than pretty displays of fizzing colour.

I have been known to yell.
Like stick your fireworks up your A.....
Surely they must be banned?
Utterly pointless waste of money.
November 7, 2025 at 9:33 AM
Great idea.
Can pay in advance?

Mum told the Doctor it was her happy place! I don't think they even asked her any questions.

My Mother forgot my birthday this year.
And has backed into her own fence.
I think following your FIL sounds like a good idea.
A traffic officer told me if they get reports of bad driving in a older person they will visit and take the licence off them.

That's what we said to Mum.
Sell your car and use the funds for Miss Daisy trips.

I don't drive much myself as I work from home but I had to go out a few times yesterday in peak traffic and I seriously don't know how my 88 year old Mother copes. Cars all over the place and you have to have your wits about you.
November 6, 2025 at 6:24 PM
I don't believe my Mother was properly assessed this year at the age of 88 by her Doctor. Extremely independent and losing her licence will impact her.
November 6, 2025 at 6:21 PM
Oh that is so funny.

Where is their sense of humor?
November 6, 2025 at 6:21 AM
I got 2 cinnamon scrolls after dropping the dog to the vet for her second expensive broken tooth repair . Sorry. Not sorry!
November 6, 2025 at 1:35 AM
So awful.
November 6, 2025 at 1:31 AM
I couldn't stand it.

Deep barks are not so bad- but Willow is very high pitched and it can go right through you.
November 4, 2025 at 8:01 AM
Yes. Really hoping Willow does not change. But if the neighbour opens his garage door (right by the bedroom window) she goes off her nut! :-)
November 4, 2025 at 7:59 AM
Fireworks just been going off like crazy here. My dogs breeder actually played fireworks sounds when she had the puppies at her home. Willow never reacted last year -and has not reacted so far this year. Hoping it stays that way!

Good news! ( and excellent choice of food too)
November 4, 2025 at 7:34 AM
Same. Had a wee cry this morning on seeing the news even though it was expected. Empathy is a good thing.
When you follow someone's journey for a long time you feel like you know them.

Thank you for sharing your love story with us. You were truly there for Tony all the way through this difficult journey .
His cheeky smile will not be forgotten.
I wish you strength in the next few days.
Look after yourself. 💔💔

And 2am
4am...... For weeks.
November 2, 2025 at 9:22 AM
You are being amazing.
I can't even comprehend your mixed emotions right now.
Let the tears fall.......
November 2, 2025 at 4:56 AM
You are so right.
When my 80 year old Dad was dying from kidney failure we asked Nurses and Doctors to please tell us what to expect .
They were spot on.
We appreciated their honesty and so did Dad. We could update people & made sure those that needed to say goodbye got the chance.
