Making cool stuff for someone I love: double-knitted alpaca mittens in deer hide shells. This took my knitting expertise, my tailoring -which leaves much to be desired- leatherworking tools, sewing skills, and lots of time. Finished the mittens last winter and I'm not done yet.

Late to the party, but I have just finished the Outside triad and I wept at the end.

The audiobooks are good.

The series contains multitudes, but it's really about how a bunch of queer neurodivergent mentally ill people save the world(s).

I can't think of a better time in our history to read it.

The dogs DEEPLY DISAGREED with my decision to lower the blinds on the south side of the house today when it hit 95 F, obliterating their sun basking spots on the floor.

Tristan is disappointed in my unwise choices and Stanley is no longer speaking to me.
