BREAKING: The December 8-9 evidentiary hearing for vindictive and selective prosecution in the Abrego case has been CANCELLED. Previously, Abrego's attorney filed a motion to dismiss without the evidentiary hearing over the news about Costa Rica. A sealed order was filed yesterday.

I've known @vanhollen.senate.gov for 25 years. I've seen him learn about and grapple with the complex realities of Israel and Palestine and the surrounding issues. I've been with him as he has spoken to Israelis, Palestinians, and his own Jewish constituents.

Went to the MPAC gala last night. I heard a fair amount of criticism of US government policy, of Israeli government policy, and of AIPAC. All of which was fair. What I didn't hear was any antisemitism, anti-Jewish sentiment, or hatred of any kind.
