I have thought about it and found smaller than 1/72 too small. I tried 10mm and 15mm but the issue with those scales is halflings and dwarves become far less detailed. If you were playing a game without shorter characters it might work. 🤷‍♂️

Modern fantasy minis are ever growing. Most are around 38mm to top of the head now for a larger male human.

It can be challenging to find 1/72 fantasy figures. Especially since Caesar minis fantasy range is not currently in production. There are the dark alliance and light alliance figures from a Ukraine plastic minis company called Red Box Games. And of course 3d printing has made it much easier.

There are a lot of benefits. Especially if you travel. It's a lot easier to carry around hundreds of 1/72 minis than it is whatever scale D&D and other fantasy minis are up to now.

They are individually cut from foam counting cubes I found at goodwill. The floor is made from egg carton material and sand.
