Telink SoCs are widely used in cheap IoT devices. Wouldn’t it be neat to have a customizable, power-efficient Zigbee device for a few euros? To program and debug these chips Telink uses a proprietary single-wire protocol. It gave me some pain so I took a closer look in www.hacst.net/posts/telink...

This is a great feature. And having it be independent from where you host your account is a major improvement compared to mastodon.
