3+ player (4 the sweet spot) format with 99 cards that you can only have one per unique name, and 1 commander card. The commander can is a legendary (usually creature) that can always be called in, and the deck is built around.

It’s quickly becomes impossible to understand and is chaotic fun.

I just built my first commander deck on Wednesday. Played it yesterday and it’s bad, but was playable.

Would absolutely build out gimmick decks for gimmick nights.
