I had the pleasure of reviewing Ninja Gaiden 4. It's a gorgeous game with super-intense combat mechanics in the spirit of PlatinumGames, with blood splashing everywhere as we finish off combos in a satisfying way. It reminded me of Metal Gear Rising. It might be my GOTY. I loved every second of it.

I loved the first season of WWE UnReal. it offers a behind-the-scenes glimpse of a programme that is both extravagant and secretive. It reveals how the storylines that shake up the shows each year are produced. Although it's romanticised, it works well.

Spent the weekend in Abu Dhabi. Beautiful city, lots of greens. A lovely, quiet and peaceful honeymoon away from Dubai for our wedding. The corniche side is beautiful, and lots of good food to try.

But the best part? You can drive without feeling like every driver are trying to kill you.

Got married yesterday. Is this adult life?

Still can’t believe it. But I’m happy. More than ever. My wife is the best person I’ve ever met. I feel I don’t deserve her, but she loves me as much as I love her.

Getting it at a decent price here in Dubai was difficult. But the Switch 2 is finally here.

It Takes Two is an amazing game! It's the first full game that my fiancée and I have finished together, and we both loved it. The gameplay is simple enough for non-gamers to enjoy, and the story gave us such a unique experience as a couple.

Thunderbolts wasn’t so bad ; lots of funny scenes and okayish action. Loved the dynamics between Florence Pugh and David Harbour’s characters.

The big leap ; after such a long time having to live so far away from my fiancée, we’re finally living together, in the same country. Leaving my job, my friends and family feels scary, but I look forward to this new chapter of my life. Finally back in the Middle East, in Dubai.

I'm usually not interested in the Transformers licence. But the first volume of Void Rivals has something special that hooked me immediately. The rivalry between Darak and Solila perfectly reflects the intriguing conspiracy of two similar worlds that have chosen to be enemies.

Many years after I first played it on PS2, I have finally been able to finish Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War. It's full of emotion, thoroughly anti-war and beautifully written. Some missions are unforgettable and incredibly heroic, and I love the way it does its best to humanise the victims of war.

Servers are still struggling a bit with assets streaming, but Flight Simulator 2024 is gorgeous to look at and so relaxing. I already want to get back into it…

My experience on Flight Simulator 2024 has been great so far… It was expected on launch day but damn I’m so impatient to fly!

Minor Detail (2020, Adania Shibli) is a stunning and haunting story. It echoes the ongoing genocide in Palestine as the author recalls the rape suffered by a woman in 1949 by an israeli soldier. It is about dehumanization, colonial sexual violences and the disregard for Arab lives. A must-read. 📚💙

The Gurkha and the Lord of Tuesday (2019, Saad Z. Hossain) was such a fun read. A detective story where a power freak djinn, crappy humans and an old sociopath gurkha soldier tries to overthrow dystopian Kathmandu's regime led by an AI named Karma. It makes no sense at first, but it's perfect. 💙📚

Yellowface (2023, R.F. Kuang)
