Patience is a virtue! Don't always force yourself to work on it.

It's good to step back a while and let your mind and yourself breathe.

You'll be able to think more clearly and get better clarity on your next move! That's what I do!

I kept thinking myself to rush my model, and that's what my mindset has been giving me.

But alas, trying to rush yourself would degrade not only your work but your passion as well.

Just enjoy what you're doing, keep moving forward at your own pace! <3

Don't you ever give up!
I also have the same mindset as well, I've been trying to complete my 3D Modeling project since last month ago and haven't gotten close to finish yet!

(I meant Anchor the arms/hands first before she tries sits up right.) Too bad I can't edit. 😅👍

In this case, the good anchor for the animation is the buttocks and the hands. Make it move as little as possible.

Anchor the arms when she's trying to sit up, then move the buttocks for a bit and until her position is comfortable.

So this way, it doesn't make your character slide naturally.

That's pretty good!
If you'd like, I have tips for you to improve your cutscene.

It seems like you already did good poses, so the armature just basically slides to its next keyframe. If you wanna reduce that sliding, try to always give an anchor to your character.
