One of my favorite shows was when he was on before the season started. At the time he was 100% sure Lane was NHL ready. I didn’t think Lane would start in the NHL before that show. He convinced me there was a chance. Great insights. Great show! Wish we drafted Cole so we could make his travel easier

Love this take. Not because it may happen, but because someone that keeps a close eye on the Rocket has evaluated that Reinbacher may be NHL ready. Even if we don’t see him I hope he starts in the NHL next season. Most important thing to me is that he is healthy and ready to go next season.

I’m okay with that. I’d rather see them fight to clinch it. The team looks like they’re out of gas, it will be amazing if they manage to do it.

99.9% of these fans didn’t think the habs would be in the mix at 4 nations break and now their angry at a team that fought through an injury to Kirby Dach and Kaiden Guhle and still managed to get to to this point. After Hutson’s season, Demis debut, its all gravy from here.

Good article! I hope Habs stay patient as long as they can with Monty, Primeau, Dobes and Fowler. Primeau deserves another shot at the NHL and Dobes and Fowler have Waiver exemption. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Monty and Primeau start the season in MTL nxt year.

I saw a couple of weeks ago talk he was headed to Michigan State next year. Seems like a good move for him after missing a year. CHL is probably too easy and NCAA will be challenging but probably not as much of a grind as AHL.

This is so on the money! Getting MM was a great move by the Habs. Great to see a homegrown player (Lac St Louis Lions) on the team as well!

I really like Hage, but like you said it’s unlikely he’s ready by 2027. Between now and then he has to work on his 200’ game to show he can be an NHL center, always a chance he can’t fill that hole. I’d be happy if they got a vet 2C before start of nxt season that can be an option for 3yrs.

This is great for the Habs! IMO KH still needs to look at the 2C spot but this helps relieve some of the pressure and will allow them not to rush their prospects. Hearing it does not have a NTC on top of it!

Thanks as always guys! Lots of good insight in this as we head up to the trade deadline. Also really liked the Reinbacher videos, analysis and insights. Just watching his games with my untrained eyes I get a sense that he’s doing well but this really helps in breaking down what we’re seeing.

Sorry but I’ve been spoiled by the Laine trade. So for Crosby my expectation is that Montreal gets Crosby and a third round pick and Pittsburg gets Mike Pezzetta and Jayden Struble… obviously kidding. Crosby in Montral would be amazing.

Now some of those same ‘many people’ are saying the ‘Slaf’ signing was a bad decision or Kirby Dach should be traded… Glad this team plays for each other and not the negative fans on the internet. This team just keeps getting better, going to be a fun ride!

While I was on board when the Lekky trade happened I was not crazy about the Kovacevic trade. Seemed like a big young RD that was still showing growth and now he’s getting PK time with Jersey and playing close to 20mins/game. Moving past that, Carriere played a great first game. Great Piece GHG!
