Ok, yeah, we younger boomers were eventually able to refi out of our 12+% 30 yr mortgages into better rates and/or terms, but wages still kind of tracked productivity back then.

Being quiet is worth every penny for the lifetime of the unit. We have a Bosch with the silverware rack on top, which we love, others dislike. Deep-sided bowls are hard to load in the washer, though.
