Do also highlight the fact that the SOLUM of a road isn't usually owned by the council
It usually belongs to the frontagers, and will revert to them if the highway pavements are no longer required for moving traffic
Why not feature a few roads that've been reclaimed (as car parks/gardens) this way?

A massive % of major NHS regional hospitals are between 0.5 & 1.5 Km from main rail routes or bus corridors with services from 06.00 to 00.00
BUT
There's no direct & seamless link to connect from the main entrance to buses/trains
AND
Over 50% of NHS sites is used to park empty idle çars

I started building 21 mile cycle route Glasgow-Balloch in December 1985, & it was opened for Glasgow Garden Festival mid 1988... whilst also building Callander-Strathyre & Paisley-Kilbirnie/Kilmacolm plus a few other surveys & smaller jobs...

Check the metrics of so many large hospitals
Over 50% of the site is used to store empty private cars for less than 50% of the time & leaching ££ that could be spent on clinical delivery instead
A huge % of the millions of journeys & other services arising from NHS could connect with other >>

About 15/20 years ago, a staff audit of NYPD officers who were driving police vehicles revealed a large % who didn't hold the appropriate driving licences for the Police vehicles they were driving.....
Anyone recall the references?
