As we reflect on the five-year anniversary of the January 6th insurrection, I want to thank the brave Capitol Police and law enforcement officers who put their lives on the line to protect our democracy.

I am eternally grateful for their bravery and dedication.

If you feel like you're losing your mind as this administration plays footsy with the idea of INVADING GREENLAND, then you're not alone.

Let me be clear: America will NOT invade a NATO ally. My Republican colleagues need to join me in making that crystal clear.
TAPPER: Can you rule out the US is going to take Greenland by force?

MILLER: Greenland should be part of the US. By what right does Denmark assert control over Greenland? The US is the power of NATO

T: So force is on the table?

M: Nobody is gonna fight the US militarily over future of Greenland

Donald Trump says January 6th was a “day of love” where there was “nothing done wrong.”

In reality, it was the most violent and deadly attack on our Capitol in over 200 years — an insurrection that drove his supporters to carry out.

Trump still has yet to be held accountable for the Jan 6th insurrection. My lawsuit with other members, Lee v. Trump, is our last chance in the courts to do so.

He wants to rewrite history. We won’t let him. www.huffpost.com/entry/lawmak...

Trump's illegal military strike WAS NEVER about stopping drugs or democracy for Venezuela.

It's about OIL and how Trump can use Venezuela's oil to get himself and his donors rich.

He is quite literally telling us that. And that's not worth risking American lives for.
Scarborough on what Trump told him during a phone call yesterday: "Joe, the the difference between Iraq and this is that Bush didn't keep the oil. We're going to keep the oil. To underline his point, Trump said his comments were no long on background."

To this day, I vividly hear the pounding on the doors of the House Chamber, the screaming of the insurrectionists threatening to kill us.

Don’t let Trump and Republicans lie to you — January 6th was a violent attack on our Capitol and our democracy.

Five years ago today, President Trump incited an attack on our democracy, on the peaceful transfer of power, and on our Capitol Police.

Our democracy only works if we fight for it with our voices and our votes—so I'm going to fight for it.

After getting sworn in, Trump pardoned violent Jan 6 rioters.

He didn't care if they beat cops or how dangerous they were. Now so many of them are back in jail for OTHER crimes like child pornography & kidnapping.

Trump endorses violence as long as it's in service to Trump.

There is no reason to think the same President—now bolder than ever in challenging our Constitution—won’t try, once again, to get his way through threats and violence.

I won't let Trump rewrite history, and we ALL must use our voices & votes to protect our democracy.

For 5 years, Trump and Republicans have tried to erase and rewrite the story of January 6th — the day a violent mob stormed the Capitol and tried to overturn the 2020 election.

Now, as he continues acting like a dictator, the strength of our democracy is being tested.

Outrageous—oil executives notified of a military strike before Congress.

And Trump's putting the lives of U.S. servicemembers at risk to help his donors get rich off Venezuela's oil.

It's not about democracy or drugs. It's Iraq all over again, just more openly corrupt.
Reporter: Did you speak with the oil companies before the operation? Did you tip them off?

Trump: Before and after. They want to go in and they’re going to do a great job.

Democrats will not stop working to bring down your costs and make sure everyone can get the health care they need.

I'm hearing from WA state small businesses who are feeling the squeeze from Trump's tariffs—with many having to raise prices and some being forced to shut their doors altogether.

More Republicans need to stand up to Trump and join Democrats to reverse these reckless tariffs.

Trump’s termination of TPS for thousands of immigrants isn’t him going after the “worst of the worst.”

He’s stripping legal status from highly-skilled workers who do dangerous jobs to keep our communities running, making worker shortages worse and slowing production.

Most Americans hate Trump’s economy.

Why? Because he’s spending his time catering to the rich and giving tax cuts to billionaires instead of making life better for poor and working families.

A President for himself and for the wealthy.
