feel like i should say i do NOT blame Luci for this. he’s a depressed, isolated man, reconnecting with his daughter is not a straightforward path, and he clearly struggles with feelings of inadequacy

Cartoon characters are just cartoon characters. We take from them what we need and want, but characters are who they are. They have their own journeys. I think sometimes people forget the point of fiction. I’ve seen people let characters dictate their life, as have I. It’s not worth it.
