Watching The Black Phone 2 further strengthens my belief that a Scott Derrickson/ @crobertcargill.bsky.social adaptation of Heart Shaped Box would be out of this world amazing.

Over two days and 16 hours of driving, we’ve made it back to Michigan. My co-pilot was restless, but eventually relaxed.

Buyers remorse strikes my soul deeply, but not this week. I knew pulling all the Age of Revelation books would be risky, but I am pleasantly unsurprised that @jedmackay.bsky.social crushed the opening salvo for AoR. Overture was exactly what I needed, and I’m ready to empty my wallet this month.

Made my first staff meal at the new job today, chose a crowd pleaser that knew I could nail: single serve chicken pot pies, with maple-ginger glazed carrots.
Worked this from recipe to delivery, a classic homey dish for lunch.
The ones for me are ugly and salty because I am gorgeous and fresh 💅

The Alien Earth needle drops have all been great, BUT how friggin good was the end of episode 4? Ocean Size by Jane’s Addiction was the perfect choice to accompany the scene. It made me feel the vast world that Wendy is heading into.
