I have been on a bread kick for the last few weeks, and it has served as a good distraction. Today’s bread is whole wheat.

My facebook is going to continue as it has as a place I share my photography and post about events and some odd bits. But that is all.

I suppose I should explain my comments on this platform as opposed to my facebook. This platform is where I can express my views openly on things. Facebook because of business is not that place. On here it is only friends that I can and will share things that I can’t there.

My god the last few weeks have be a whirlwind of bullshit. Every morning it’s looking at the news and just feeling more depressed about what the US is turning into.

A foggy calm and quite morning on the Snohomish River.

On this the first few hours of 2025, I find myself unable to sleep. I don't know what this year will hold but I fear it will not be good for so many.

Last nights rib roast was excellent.

It appears that Syria has fallen and Assad has fled, my the people of Syria find peace at last. Let us hope the new government of Syria governs in the best interest of all and that we do not see a new dictator take over from an old one.

I love the Christmas season but this year I feel less inclined to do anything about it. I put the tree up yesterday but haven’t done any decoration other than lights. Maybe tomorrow I’ll finish it, but it just seems more then I want to do this year

Last weekend I was out in Spokane and this old barn out on the Palouse was just sitting there all run down and forgotten

Well here I am, the best thing to do I guess is if you can't sleep at 3:00 am, you might as well join a newer social media site.
