Backyard visitors this morning. Two Bald Eagles. One immature that we have seen frequently over the past month or two and one nearly(?) mature. The older bird's head still has remnants of a black stripe and there is still some black in the tail. Couldn't get closer without disturbing them. #Birds

1st image is Great Egret in breeding plumage looking for nesting material. Middle photo is nesting egret with two nestlings, look closely to right of nest. 3rd image is closeup of area showing alligator guarding his birds. Full grown gator 🐊 he saw him bellowing for a mate last week.
