I’m getting pretty good, Don’t know if you’ve seen Anger Management. I say goosefrogbutt instead of goosefraba? My kids changed the pronunciation 😀

I am learning how to meditate. I am thankful that I am a polyglot. I am getting more reliable news from foreign outlets than from our mainstream media.

This sums it up perfectly. They know we are mad. I was getting daily “give us money” texts. I haven’t not gotten any since Saturday.

If you cannot protect the people you shouldn’t be in office. The GOP weaponized hunger. In response, my small rural community rallied to help those impacted so you could fight to save healthcare. You failed to do so when you had the momentum. Trust is earned sir. You’ve lost mine.

They never learn. The American people suffer as a result.

Exactly!!! My MIL was hospitalized 11 months before a heart transplant. During that period, 12 of 14 people in the cardiac ward with her went bankrupt. We didn’t because my FIL worked maintenance at the hospital and had great insurance. The other was related to a major celebrity who paid the $1M+

That’s a little creepy. It looks like the scene in the movie before she murders him in his sleep.

Without insurance, my daughter’s medication is $25,000. It’s $500 with insurance. It is for a shot she administers to herself every 6 weeks. She has an autoimmune disease. The magic 500%, 1,000%,600%…. Cost decreases he announced never happened. He has no concept of affordability.

As a preschooler, I put on my pink checkered swimsuit and had my mom tape paper stars to my hands and forehead so I could pretend to be you. I learned how to tell time so I would never miss the show.

That poor flag.😢

Why is she still getting paid?

My small town had over 300 people come out. My next door neighbor was visiting family and joined a separate event with 150 people. These smaller events across rural America are often not counted but they add up.

Our food bank has been having challenges buying food since the DOGE cuts. In 2026, we will no longer get near date food from Walmart. The BBBA changed the tax deduction rules making it more cost effective to toss tens of thousands of pounds of food. Our community is helping, but it’s not sustainable

Sorry for multiple replies. Look into the 1% charitable deduction floor in the BBBA passed this year
October 28, 2025 at 6:26 PM
It falls under the 1% charitable deduction floor, of the BBBA, which will go into effect in 2026. It is written to include in-kind donations like food. If the food cost is less than 1% of the company’s taxable income they can’t get the deduction. If they toss it they can claim it as a loss.

There is a story in the Minneapolis Star Tribune, The food rescue program helps by providing meats and prepared food items. We have many clients with no access to a kitchen. It’s getting harder to stock the shelves. The bright spot is our small community is coming together to help each other.
October 27, 2025 at 11:28 PM
It was a discussion topic at the recent food shelf board meeting. Walmart has already started pulling back on donations in rural MN. I will try to find an article that is not behind a paywall

This administration has also gutted funding for organizations selling discounted products to the food shelves. Effective January corporations who donate near dated food to the food shelf will lose the tax credit. I will be cheaper for companies like Walmart to toss the food than to donate it.

I can be concerned about people feeding their families AND the president being for sale.

Yes, we don’t know where it’s coming from or what’s expected in return. I keep seeing it’s 130M. That seems like a lot of money but that equates to under $100 for each active duty service member. It’s a stunt.

My first vote ever was for him.

Corruption and a bs publicly stunt. That’s not enough to cover the payroll. It equates to about $100/person.
