I understood the mechanism of mc.noteallocator~ (since Max 8) this week.
The loopback signal to mc.noteallocator~ resembles the envelope status for poly~.
It has benefits for handling multiple signals, so I won't go back to poly~.

Literal translation is not always the right way for localization.

We used simple English, such as "HIGH SCORE", "START GAME", because early PCBs did not have enough memory to store Japanese glyphs.
Such irresponsible "localizations" ruin the atmosphere of the early arcade games.
An emoji expressing disappointment about Pac-Man in 2025's Halloween doodle. It translates "HIGH SCORE" to "高スコア". "高" is "high" like "high temperature", not for the HIGHest SCORE. The original words are a bit odd as an English phrase, but it's common in video game culture.

The comparison of old and new Japanese translations. English: LOREM IPSUM DOLOR SIT AMET. Old: (untranslated) New: あのイーハトーヴォのすきとおった風。 A quote from a novel by Kenji Miyazawa. It's public domain and used as the dummy text, like lorem ipsum, for the font viewer on macOS. It's a joke that the frightening book actually has no meaningful content. I also found Miyazawa's world is similar to Star of Providence, mixed up life/death or reality/dreams. The comparison of old and new Japanese translations. English: YOU'VE MADE FUN OF HIM FOR THE LAST TIME. Old: この前、彼をからかっただろう？ New: この前、うちの者が世話になったそうだな。 Changed it to like a yakuza boss's line. "I heard you took care of my family (bang!)" The comparison of old and new Japanese translations. English: YOU'RE NOT SPECIAL. WE ALL USED TO BE SOMEBODY. Old: 君は特別じゃない。みんな他の誰かだったんだ。 New: 君は特別なんかじゃない。みんな何者でもなかったんだ。 "何者かになる" ("becoming somebody" in literal terms) in Japanese is often used to describe somebody special or somebody established their identity. And "何者でもなかった" (not "somebody") is used to describe people who couldn't establish their identity. (especially middle-aged) So I reversed the expression to like "we all have not used to be somebody (special)". I realized the enemy characters are mad and oddly shaped because of their identity crisis; they are all dead equally. It's a secret between us who read this long alt text.

公開されました。

A commit log of the Japanese localization file for upcoming UltiMaker Cura 5.10, to fix a translation about "open" the file. "あける" in the previous translation is a bit ambiguous and casual word for this situation.

Started a new project.
The motivation of the project it leads; In analog realm, audio signals are easily connected by copper cables. Guitar pedals and modular synth are good examples. How about computer music? How do you communicate audio signals between different software without recorded WAV files?
