I know a lot of people who like the movies. I personally love them. The draw for me is the characters, world, special effects, and stunning action/visuals. They’re masterpieces on a technical level. The fans are just more quiet than the haters.

The avatar movies aren’t adaptations so they’re less in the zeitgeist I guess. Less expanded material, less iconic. But people in film circles definitely do talk about them.

Before this trailer came out mainly history buffs knew about all the inaccuracies, but now it’s in the public eye because of the debate.

The movie existing with all its inaccuracies actually led to educating people more than if it never existed!
