The "Oh yeah nice" text after sending her a picture of the full pot is worth a slightly higher gas bill

I do want to do a cost comparison to store bought stock cubes but it's tricky bc even if buying them comes out cheaper after a while of having the homemade thing they start to taste bad 😔 Plus I can't get my mom's seal of approval over buying stock cubes

That being said there is something so satisfying abt making my own stock cubes besides the whole "saving money and knowing what we put in our bodies" thing (tho it is a big thing), I'm not sure how to describe it but it's the same prideful "I made something with my own hands" feeling I get with art

I am a little concerned about the gas bill tho bc wdym I had to cook it for a whole 4 hours total (it was on low but still). Well at least we don't have the heating on yet so ig it's not as bad as it could have been
