"You must become part of the solution, or remain part of the problem!"
I guess I am a leftist! Wanting the best for everyone must be bad?
Happy urbanist that believes the bicycle will save society!

You seem to be the entitled type that disregards laws. I expect that stop signs, red lights, and speed limits do not apply to you.

Entitlement is strong with you
November 23, 2025 at 4:41 PM
Not wrong. keep motor vehicles off of pedestrian space. There is dedicated infrastructure and designated storage for large motorized vehicles, use it.
November 23, 2025 at 4:40 PM
Motor vehicles already inhabit 99.98% of space, leave the 0.02% for humans that need it.
The dominance must end.
November 22, 2025 at 9:32 PM
Keep motor vehicles OFF sidewalks. Period.
Keep motor vehicles away from children, pedestrians, handicapped, and mobility assist.
There is a specific place for high speed (faster than 25kph) users. Let humans have human space.
November 22, 2025 at 8:42 PM
Then why complain when pedestrians and cyclists use up the entire street! Fuk motorists, that psychosis has destroyed communities for nearly a century
November 22, 2025 at 6:08 PM
So, parents with strollers or elderly with walkers can fuk off?Keep the motor vehicle where it belongs
November 22, 2025 at 3:57 PM
In that context, so is the street.
November 22, 2025 at 3:54 PM
I think motorists use them as points markers. 💯 wins!

It might be time to sit in council meetings and bring up a point of order. Have them be on the record of what they intend to do to deal with increasing stats.
November 21, 2025 at 2:37 PM
Shocking when you design a city for the automobile and wonder why murders of humans occur due to irresponsible use of said vehicles.
There needs to be a counter of vehicular violence to hit council with.
November 21, 2025 at 2:32 PM
They are already blocking half the motor vehicle lane, why not just use it entirely and leave the sidewalk free?
November 21, 2025 at 1:10 AM
You refer to the Beaverton as satirical?
This might be the most honest headline ever
November 20, 2025 at 6:16 PM
You did an excellent job introducing yourself and your beliefs. So many great candidates within the NDP. Thank you for taking the leap and bringing hope.
November 20, 2025 at 6:13 PM
Yes!!! I can see this as a reason to increase rates, heck even doubling what we currently pay. Makes sense now as the UCP govern for corporations to make $$
November 20, 2025 at 4:04 PM
Even within cities and residential areas speed limits are easily doubled. Playground zones are ignored and most do 60. Speed is a huge problem and physics cannot be ignored. People will die and murder is normalized by officials.
November 20, 2025 at 4:03 PM
The folks that “it’s my way!” And “I do not believe in democracy!” Have the opportunity to go public.
My retort them is STFU
November 20, 2025 at 3:58 PM
It is becoming normalized now as it is drafted in resolutions within the Bill. Govts are now purposely subverting Rights to pursue the agenda. All this to prevent proper consultation
November 20, 2025 at 3:56 PM
Excellent analysis!

So SUV traffic has increased over the passed time period (I think I have taken that route a couple of times since 2012, and found it barely adequate (but better than Connors or 82 av)
November 18, 2025 at 8:53 PM
I haven’t ridden that stretch in a long time. Is 88 ave (east of Mill Creek) due to be a bike lane? I remember it being a variable used residential road (sometimes busy, sometimes not)
