Oh my gosh, I'm going down the research hole with these too to find references for my own work. Any resources in particular you suggest when it comes to how they are usually designed?

Make sure your outfit is bathroom-safe. My rule is “nothing I can’t maneuver in a porta-potty.” You don’t want to lose your belt of pouches to the abyss.

Get a canteen (I have one covered in leather so it goes with the outfit) and freeze water in it. You’ll have ice-cold water all day, and the front door people generally don’t make you dump it if you tell them it’s ice and shake it around.

Looks like the link doesn’t work?

I'm so sorry for how discouraging this has been. Do you still plan to release further analysis of the sites?

The methods you describe for interpreting satellite imagery (visual indicators like the width of the paths, the timing of shadows) is fascinating. Do you have any books or other resources that you recommend about this kind of "satellite forensics" even if it's not necessarily related to mass graves?

Do you still anticipate releasing an analysis of the "pile of bodies" that gained attention a few weeks ago soon?

Doing the whole Q-Anon "Oooo Something Of Some Kind Is Happening!!" thing in a time when Things Are Literally Happening every few hours is pretty cringe.

What if you just mildly-perturbed-cut all 117 squares of the quilt?

If I can't help picturing it, I try to "change" parts in my memory, or picture things that look odd, and tell myself "oh, that's clearly something from a movie, or I bet it's bad AI, because things don't move like that/ it was filmed too well or too poorly/ anything even vaguely convincing.

FUCK I'm so sorry. I've stumbled across a few things like that over time. If I start picturing it, I try to also imagine a big red alarm light and an air horn, and then the "screen" of my mental image going blank with a big "NO." Like replacing it with a reflexive image that isn't horrible.
