First time seeing this. I'm guessing that she lost her US citizenship due to marrying a Canadian citizen because of the Expatriation Act of 1907; then was omitted from the women who should have gotten their citizenship back due to the Cable Act. immigrationhistory.org/item/cable-a...

My grandfather was sent to a seminary in Canada to become a priest at 14. He ran away, took a train and returned home to Maine. Talked about t all the time but never said why. That was him at 14; 8th grade graduation. He was so little! I bet I know why!
