Harm to people, and the economy, would compound for decades to come. Beyond day-to-day implications, the complete shutdown of 16+ national laboratories & research facilities focusing on weather, climate, & oceans would bring about a multi-generational loss in American science.

Please use your remaining time in congress well. Become an Independent and caucus with the Democrats. Then talk others into doing the same. You do not have to vote Democratic but would keep the Trump captured GOP from having power to destroy the nation. You are not running. Please be patriots.
