I officially retired from my job this weekend. It was a good run - almost 39 years (some seasonal work). It’s bittersweet, but I’m glad I’m done.

The headline is misleading - it’s not a buyout. It’s a deferred resignation. The way I read the email is you continue working, but are exempt from in person work requirements, then you resign on or before 9/30/25.

Krispy Krunchy Chicken is served out of gas station/convenience stores and I’m just saying, their chicken tenders are THE BOMB! Get them while they are fresh and they are sooooo good! They have great sides as well.

Yes, 5 years ago. Eventually I accepted it & moved on. I think what helped me most was to remember all of the times there was tension & anxiety, & how that tension is now gone, along with the anxiety/angst. I’m in a better place now & those stresses are gone. It helps to talk to someone as well.
