It is possible that this was either under Edward the VII or George the IV, but I'm leaning towards Edward.

William Joinson is, or was, buried at Sai Wan Bay War Cemetery, in Hong Kong. I would also like to point out the several instances where Palestine is mentioned and/or seen. William is pictured in Palestine in 1938, and this bible from ≤ 1910 pictures Palestine as such too.
