I have finished a particular series because (at least for the one I’m thinking) her works lacked towards the end of the series and I just couldn’t get into her newer works for whatever reason. Still love the series as a whole and do recommend 😄 I’m a mood reader as well so there’s that to consider

I have read 2 of her newer books and honestly I love seeing how her craft has improved over time 😄 so if I enjoy their social media content, subject matter, they are a newer/indie author etc I will probably give them more chances. On the flip side I have let go of more established authors after 2/3

I read a debut author’s published book that had over 5k 4/5⭐️reviews. I thought originally that she was an indie author so I let a lot of plot holes slip, but then realized she was trad published (This was partly what gave me the final nudge to look into publishing my work honestly 😅) Since then 1/2
