Todd has always struck me as the well-meaning nerd kid that came into power. He's largely the same dweeby chess club kid and it's one of his more endearing qualities. One of the last studio heads that has some semblance of a real personality. He's happy he's helped make shit that people care about.

You know, I love games and went to college to hopefully get to work on them someday, but we've since graduation, it's been this kind of shit and I'm so happy I pivoted away. Just deeply unserious rich people making decisions for far too many people under them and hurting them as a result.

I really love how clear your art is! It's certainly not lacking in detail, but it's not extremely simplified either. To me, it amazingly emulates the feeling of the first game's visuals without directly trying to copy them.

Original is super awesome for what it is and very ambitious as a sequel and GB game. Samus Returns is a really fun game too, though! Just feels like two different dev teams had the same idea given to them with different approaches to the material. Never played AM2R tho

A movie with the scope of Terminator with that budget is definitely pretty small though. You can tell where every dollar went and it's better remembered for it. Like, hard working people actually got paid for their set, effects, and makeup work.

It's just so maskless now. Like I dunno, the 1st Avatar was a cool jump for what movies can do. Nothing following has sustained that initial interest for me. They're just regular movies, but now unsustainably expensive. It could be physical sets and makeup and still be the same.

How does one plan a franchise for decades and simply forgot to factor in the cost to produce it? How does making some of the highest grossing films ever not carry the franchise forward? Like, Christ, man.

Whenever my brain won't let me have a good day, I get upset at how hard it is to just feel normal. I've started trying to think of Worf telling me he sees my struggle, but values that I fight, and it usually helps correct my brain a little. It's so silly and dumb, but I can't deny it helps
