I have argued some version of this; Specifically: Much of the “woke” panic is White people learning what minorities actually think and have thought for decades when in the past they simply didn’t consider we had an inner World at all.

I find it’s fitting in this trying time of mis/disinformation lol. I forgot to mention that I too would be pissed if they existed and I, indeed, were not one of them.

I’ve never read a single comic but to put my PhD of speaking out the side of my ass to use, I always assumed humans hated mutants in the way that dominant society hates disabled ppl in a very eugenics kind of way. Even when they could be considered more perfect humans, they aren’t the norm.

I feel like we don’t acct for a general lack of time in these convos, as we move into an unprecedented cultural form of constant hyper-productivity, it’s no wonder kids would rather sit and scroll on their phones for hours developing executive dysfunction vs doing something productive like reading.

Anti-Black racism brought us here. There is no path out of our current situation that does not go through addressing that anti-Black racism.

Black people can't do that work for you.

I see folks playing make-believe resistance, as if they can skip that part and still be effective.

They can't.
