So far off the mark, that it seems like she's only seen the posters for those movies. Also wasn't there a big industry story recently about how Disney explicitly stripped those themes out of Elio (which subsequently bombed)?

I can always count on Bluesky to introduce me to a completely deranged behavior I'd never heard of which will have people crawling out of the woodwork to defend as a serious equality issue.

I think about this all the time when I get the urge to push back on the junk my daughter watches and I think about how successful my dad ever was in convincing me that my tv consumption choices were bad.

I think they'd be smart to set it so that there's lot going on but you only have to have seen the direct in-series predecessors to understand it all. (70's/80's X-Men or LoSH worked this way). Not that I expect them to follow that advice...

The problem is that the rest of us can't easily tell when someone saying something on the internet is in their early 20's (or younger)
