then they sneak around and find YJH on a 'date' and they freak out because no way... he has a dating life... the world is ending..

His team's all, ??? why is captain so calm these days did he get a girlfriend or something we need to go spy on him

HSY may or may not have designed KDJ's advertisements

Turns out KDJ really is an Average Dude, but he really does make for a great tourist guide

KDJ and YJH end up on "dates" with KDJ taking YJH everywhere and honestly?? YJH does kind of feel like it's therapeutic...

YJH's all grumbly like "Yeah, yeah, finally you figured it out now go back to sleep and let me take you on a real date tomorrow ok" and goes back to sleep

"Bruh" -- KDJ, probably.

KDJ feels like he sort of got scammed, somehow

YJH makes up for it with the official date, at least. Finally.

So really, no harm, no foul. Yeah?

YJH looks happy, Biyoo looks happy. And KDJ feels happy cause they're all happy.

There does come a night when KDJ gets hit with an epiphany and he slaps YJH awake all "You were doing ALL OF THAT because you had a crush on your OLDER NEIGHBOR??"

So it just kind of becomes an unspoken agreement/understanding that YJH has pretty much decided to stick around as a ~Permanent Roommate~

Every once in a while KDJ wonders how it all started or when it got to this point but then he forgets about it when he watches YJH and Biyoo play together loool

Eventually, though, KDJ realizes all the little bits and bobs around his home that screams 'YJH' and sees how the guy's pretty much made himself a permanent fixture in KDJ's life and he's kind of going "what in the hell just happened"

and he figures it would be a good gesture to someone who's trying so hard to be independent (judging from the housework, the cooking, and whatnot)

So KDJ supports him while YJH figures out what he wants to do in life and find a career that suits him

And you know what, sure, why not

KDJ doesn't really expect the flowers or the nice get-up YJH wears instead of his wrinkly T-shirt and jeans but it does look awfully nice on him...

Something something KDJ eventually lets YJH move in since he thought YJH was trying to be an 'adult' ASAP

Kinda disappointed that YJH doesn't introduce the girl to him but eh guess the kid's still too shy about that kind of stuff so whatever

YJH asks for a dinner out as his graduation present -- with Biyoo included, of course, since he knows KDJ doesn't really like to leave her with babysitters

Trying to make himself more boyfriend material lmao

KDJ just feels a little more proud of YJH, though he wonders if YJH is doing all this to 'practice' for a future girlfriend and thinks YJH finally found some girl crush

Heck, when he goes to YJH's graduation he half expects to see said girl crush

Eventually YJH cleans up his act and actually does cool off some toward graduation and is even a little more aggressive when it comes to wooing KDJ, like offering to babysit Biyoo more often, looking up some house DIY stuff and finding more ways to fix up/clean KDJ's place, helping with dinner, etc

YJH tries harder to be more responsible so he can look better in KDJ's eyes but hey angsty teen brain always takes over and all that pent-up stuff puts him in more fights lmao

KDJ clicks his tongue at the extra bruises and cuts and nags him even more though YJH knows it's all well-meaning

Too bad KDJ gets too relaxed around YJH because why would some handsome (and a little angsty) young'n have the hots for a middle aged, nerdy dad

And unfortunately YJH gets even more sexually frustrated cause he's underage and KDJ (sensibly) should have no interest in a brat
