Yes they are called "tutor" at least in Italy where I live. I think I read somewhere that they had a measurable impact in number of accidents. I guess both system are good, depending on the situation. One advantage is that there's no risk of fast drivers slamming on the brakes at the last second

things get so fucking weird when posts end up on the discover feed. I don't blame individuals as much as I blame what social media has become. So glad we're trying something new here

I only subscribe to creators that I absolutely want to keep up with.

For content that I'm interested in, but don't necessarily want to subscribe to a creator, I rely on the home algorithm to surface their content.

To me, this feels like the most natural and obvious way to use YouTube
