I’m glad you said this, the ones I have somehow remind me of cleaning out a rabbit hutch on a hot day, in a way I can’t fully explain.

My old car did this, it also had an intermittent power steering fault which meant in cold weather you’d brace yourself when hearing the alert noise after starting it, not knowing if it was just a bit chilly or if it had decided it wasn’t going to let me steer for a while.
