So, I had these two Obeka cards that I really wanted to do something with, and I... (nervous chuckle) forgot that I had Court Of Ire, so... my Obeka deck is starting to come along. Can you imagine what could be done with these?

4 Magic The Gathering cards. Obeka, Splitter of Seconds; The Ninth Doctor; Court Of Ire; and Adric, Mathematical Genius. Obeka and The Ninth Doctor provide the player with more upkeep phases and Court Of Ire deals damage every time the player has an upkeep phase. Adric can copy triggered abilities which I believe can copy Obeka's upkeep phase granting ability. 5 Magic The Gathering cards. Obeka, Brute Chronologist, Valduk, Keeper of the Flame x2, and Kavaron Harrier x2. Both Valduk and Kavaron have abilities that spawn additional creatures to attack with that are removed from play at some point during the player's turn. Obeka's ability here allows the player to end their turn before the additional creatures need to be destroyed and thus creates the additional creatures permanently.

My physical copy has finally arrived! No more PDF for me. God... I hate RPGing with PDFs. I've gotta be able to flip through the pages. Now I can just sit down and give it a proper read through before giving it a test run.

A legit but joke card for Magic The Gathering called Rules Lawyer. The card's text reads: "rules Text State-based actions don't apply to you or other permanents you control. (You don't lose the game due to having 0 or less life or drawing from an empty library. Your creatures aren't destroyed due to damage or deathtouch and aren't put into a graveyard due to having 0 or less toughness. Your planeswalkers aren't put into a graveyard if they have 0 loyalty. Felt like playing around with some sort of TCG so I broke out my old stacks of WoW cards and as I was picking out a hero for the deck I noticed an annoying little tendency in the ability descriptions of some of the cards...

Really shows the mentality, eh?
