I actually haven’t even finished the second half of the final season (s5), mostly due to timing and then terrible follow through on my part.

I don’t know if this would work for you, but I really enjoyed the SyFy original Eureka. Especially at the beginning it’s very procedural (less overarching plot, although that increases). It was fun to try and solve, but when I watched I often just felt along for the ride. (It gets more srs s4&5)

First: I agree, they are different species. Second: heating them up (like hot hot hot, not just warm enough to fold, but too hot to eat, ideally a lil burnt over an open flame, but we have an electric stove so in a pan works too) makes a HUGE difference. Last: we like Guerrero brand pretty well.
