I get frustrated by evaluations of technologies that focus on their affordances without also evaluating them as sociotechnical systems. Is this a just system? Does it reflect our values? Do we agree with how it remakes our social, political, economic, and material relationships? The environment?

I don’t even know what to say. So many professional values and codes of conduct seem to have gone out the window. Who wants to read journalism that is only generated to sound plausible?
