Unfortunately, I doubt there are any Republicans left in government that have any spine at all. There certainly aren't enough on the senate that would actually vote to remove him.

I mean he isn't wrong that the train between San Francisco and LA has been awfully managed. But has it really been managed worse than Trump airlines? Or Trump university? Or any of the casinos he bankrupted? Doubt it.

And yet Trump and his supporters will celebrate this as a win.

Someone needs to design one of those "i did that" stickers with trumps face on it so people can start slapping them over gas pumps just like they did for biden.

They never cared in the first place. It was always about optics.

And at the end of the day, he couldn't flip any yes votes to no votes. Collins and Murkowski were likely voting no regardless of what mitch did. He now has so little control over his own party, that he can't convince even 1 rank and file member to vote with him to kill a nomination.

I think the most shocking thing about this is how little influence mitch McConnell still has over his party.

If there's anyone that understands the republican playbook, it's a republican. Democrats would do well to listen to him.
