I think many folks don't care about culture wars or identity politics. They care if you have inclusive ideas and feelings, not what the colour of your skin is, your nationality, your gender, your sexuality or what religion or customs you follow.

Uh, I was so excited about The Dagon Collection I quit reading the nominations, posted about it, then went to take my mom to an appointment. Now I’m in the waiting room freaking out quietly because I realized I’m shortlisted in the World Fantasy Awards artist category!
Oh my goodness, The Dagon Collection is on the World Fantasy Awards shortlist for anthologies! I didn't just make woodcut art for this one, I wrote the story for it as well!
