Climate200 has clear values and has attracted thousands of people to donate to it.
The current legislation is designed to make it harder for new indies, which is the existential threat, and entrenching the current situation before it gets worse.

1. Rich, but not a billionaire
2. Contributed 250k total, not half a million per candidate.
3. He has no control over the vote of independents

Honestly, I've gone back and forth on responding to this, but... you literally have in your bio 'pragmatic leftie'. Do you really think that someone who, as you point out, is rich,and could be doing anything else, is a bad guy for fighting for independent climate change activists to join parliament?
