It's become another ideologically charged debate which is obscuring the actual story: LLM's can turn a profit in limited areas, but that this investment boom is likely way too optimistic.

As an example, these authoritarian folks just fucking LOVE the idea of joining a posse to go exact violence or punishment on just about anyone they can justify as being "deviant" in some way.
This is why we can't let norms degrade, why we have to hold law enforcement accountable: they enjoy it.
